If your a Twins fan trying to call the team about Tuesday's playoff game tickets against the Tigers. Your most likely not having any luck getting through.
Molly Gallatin, Team publicity staffer, says via e-mail, "our lines are completely tied up with ticket requests."
The team's director of baseball operations, Mike Herman, adds in his e-mail, "We can't call out either."
Gallatin writes, " We haven't gotten official word that it is sold out, but I am guessing it's getting close. Online is probably the way to go here because our phone lines aren't doing the trick."

That's interesting. I wonder why there's such an uprising for tickets? Lol, and why people don't just use the internet as soon as they don't get through on the phones?
ReplyDeleteThat's funny that you posted your summary as this because just yesterday I was with my youth group, and my youth leader was trying to get tickets to Tuesdays game. He had me and some of my other friends in the youth group call in too. Between all of us we probably called about 300 times, and we never got a hold of someone!
ReplyDeleteI bet the tickets are a hot item. If I could afford them or had the time to track them down I would go! I hope the Twins win and do well :D It's the last game at the Metro Dome :(
ReplyDeleteIt is going to be loud at the Dome on Tuesday! According to your summary, this might be a record-breaking crowd, but I hope all this crowd breaks is records and Tigers, not phone lines.
ReplyDeleteGrade: 8/10
ReplyDeleteMistakes:
• Should be: If you are a... You are most likely...
• These two sentences are actually one: If your a Twins fan trying to call the team about Tuesday's playoff game tickets against the Tigers. Your most likely not having any luck getting through.
• The first word of full-sentence quotes should be capitalized: .. "Our lines are completely tied up with ticket requests."
