Eric K. Gareis, 21, of Zimmerman was driving his vehicle when his car crossed into the northbound lane of Hwy. 169 and rolled. Gareis was wearing a set belt but died at the scene. Alcohol is not thought to be a factor for the rollover.

That is really sad. He was so young. Things can happen no matter how cautious you are.
ReplyDeleteIt really bothers me too when someone so young dies. I am strict on our kids, but it is to try and prevent things like this.
ReplyDeleteAlthough it was hardly noticeable, “set” belt should probably be “seat” belt. You did a good job condensing the story down to 45 words. I wish I could do it, because I have trouble keeping it < 51 words. It’s really sad Gareis died while doing the right thing in wearing his seat belt.
